California Therapy
We start the therapy process with a brief consultation call where we introduce ourselves, tell you about our services, and we learn a little bit about what is bringing you to treatment. If you decide to work with us, we will send you an intake packet that includes standardized assessment tools that we will use to help understand you and your needs.
Assessment and Treatment Plan
Our first session begins with a comprehensive assessment, where we explore what has brought you to treatment, what symptoms you are experience, and explore your goals for the future. We will make recommendations for treatment that will help you with your current problems. Together, we create goals for your treatment that will guide our work together.
Therapy Sessions
We offer in-person and tele-health appointments. Sessions are typically 45-55 minutes long. During your session, we will use a variety of interventions and techniques to help you make connections between what you are thinking, feeling, and doing to feel better. Together, we will work to understand how stress is impacting you and practice clinically proven strategies to help you relax.
